Photo Guidelines for Your Website

Providing the right photos helps us build a clean, professional website that represents your business the right way.

Use this guide to understand what to send so your site looks sharp, consistent, and on-brand.

Section 1

Branding & Logo Photos

If you have branding materials, sending them early helps us match your website design to your business identity.

  • Primary company logo

  • Logo with transparent background (PNG preferred)

  • Brand colors (if available)

  • Company signage photos

  • Branded uniforms or vehicles

Section 2

Recommended Photo Types

Strong, authentic photos help build trust with visitors and dramatically improve the overall look and feel of your website.

  • Team or staff photos
  • Company vehicles
  • Completed project photos
  • Before and after photos
  • Job site photos
  • Office or storefront photos
  • Equipment or tools in action
  • Customer interaction photos (if available)

Section 3

Photo Quality Tips

Clear, high-quality photos give us more flexibility in design and result in a more polished, professional website.

Good Photos Should Be:

  • Clear and sharp
  • Bright and well-lit
  • Taken horizontally when possible
  • High resolution
  • Professional-looking

Avoid Using:

  • Blurry photos
  • Dark photos
  • Screenshots
  • Photos with heavy text overlays
  • Extremely small images
  • Cropped social media images

Section 4

Recommended Image Sizes

Using the right image sizes helps your pages load faster and keeps your photos looking crisp on all devices.

  • Hero Images: 1920 x 1080 pixels
  • Service Photos: 1200 x 800 pixels
  • Gallery Photos: 1200 x 800 pixels
  • Team Photos: 800 x 800 pixels

If your photos are larger than these sizes, that’s okay—we can resize them. It’s always better to send larger, higher-quality files than images that are too small.

Larger photos are always better than smaller ones — we can resize large images, but we cannot improve low-quality ones.

Section 5

How to Send Photos

Share your photos in the way that’s easiest for you. We’ll handle organizing and preparing them for your website.

  • Upload to Google Drive and share the link
  • Send through Dropbox
  • Email photos directly
  • Upload using the project form (if available)

Tip: If you are unsure whether a photo will work, send it anyway. We will review and optimize it for your website.

Helpful Reminder

The quality of your photos plays a big role in how professional your website looks. The better the photos, the stronger the first impression for your customers.
